The camera cost three hours.
Ray-Ban Meta Audio ships on 13 October: the same frames with the camera taken out, up to 12 hours of battery against nine, 43 grams, and $100 cheaper. It is a good reminder that the most useful spec change on a device is often a removal.

IFA 2026 was full of appliances that work out what you want instead of asking. The design problem that creates is not accuracy, it is what happens when the guess is wrong.

Apple shipped seven Nano generations across eight years and never quite settled on what it was. A tall thin scroll-wheel, then a watch face, then a tall slim square. Each version was confident and obsolete.
